FedExField Parking Lots & Rates
The stadium is surrounded by multiple parking areas divided into sections, including Platinum, Purple, Orange, Green, Red, and Gray Zone, as well as lots for oversized vehicles. Upon booking a spot, you’ll get a FedExField parking permit for a specific lot. Sings are posted by each entrance, and the attendants will guide you toward your lot since each zone has a designated roadway. The following FedExField parking map shows the locations of all short-term parking structures, ADA areas, the ride-share lot, and the taxi stand:
The official website suggests using Ticketmaster, and here are the standard parking prices for Washington Football Team home games:
Parking Option | Event Rate |
General Admission Parking | $60 |
Bus/RV Parking | $100 |
To lower your costs, we recommend using sites like Vivid Seats, which usually offers lower rates for parking at FedEx Field lots. Depending on the game day, you can find a parking spot in one of the main parking lots for as low as $44! >>Reserve on Vivid Seats
Accessible Parking
Handicapped parking spaces are placed in the vicinity of the gates and are available to all patrons with disabilities. To use an ADA spot, you need to purchase a FedExField Purple, Orange, or Green parking pass, and an attendant will direct you to the designated area. A disabled parking permit or placard is also required. Should you need any assistance, feel free to call 301-276-6100.
Washington Football Team Parking Near FedExField
If you don’t reserve parking ahead of time, the cost for an official FedExField lot will be $60 or higher. To lower your expenses, you can use an off-site parking structure but only if you’re comfortable with taking a long walk to the stadium. Although these lots require a longer walking time, the process of getting out of it after a game is much faster than in the official areas. The most popular choice among Washington Football Team fans is the Jericho Church lot—the walk takes 15 to 20 minutes, and the rates start at $30. You can also use 1019 Brightseat Road Lot, which is a 20-minute walk away and has a $35 event rate. FedExField visitors who plan to stay in a hotel should search for a property that offers shuttle bus services for NFL events.
Tailgating at FedExField
Tailgating activities are allowed in the stadium lots, and the venue suggests using the RedZone area. It offers wider parking spots and opens five hours before kickoff, while other areas open four hours before the scheduled game time. RedZone has a dedicated entrance/exit roadway, so getting out of it will be quicker and smoother. Whichever FedEx Field parking lot you choose, make sure to follow the tailgating guidelines, such as:
- Make sure your vehicle and equipment don’t block any aisle or parking stall
- Use proper containers to dispose of all garbage
- Utilize an empty parking space in designated areas only
- Put out all flames before heading to the stadium
Note that tailgating ends at kickoff, and all lots close two hours after the conclusion of the game.
Transportation to the Stadium
To reduce your expenses and save time, use public transit! Most frequent visitors recommend Metro, and the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station is less than a mile away from the stadium. The station is served by Blue and Silver Lines. Rail fares vary from $2 to $6, depending on the time of the day, while the regular bus fare is $2. If you need any assistance in finding a suitable route, use the Trip Planner. Alternatively, you can grab a cab or request Uber or Lyft, both of which pick up and drop off guests in the nearby Ride-Share lot.
